Carl Barone Piano Service is Now Part of House of Keys
Continuing the Legacy of Carl Barone Piano Service
After 45 years in the piano tuning and repair business, Mr. Carl Barone has fully retired and has entrusted his business to Mr. William Perez of House of Keys in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Will has trained alongside Mr. Barone and is honored to continue serving Carl’s existing clients with the same care, respect, and attention to detail they have trusted for many years. Born in Silver City, New Mexico, Will was raised in a musical family and has spent much of his life connected to music through performance, worship, and piano care.
Today, he serves as the Music Director for Cedar Hills Church of the Cross and is also the director of APP8 Music. “I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to apprentice under Carl Barone, a Master Piano Technician and an exceptional teacher. I look forward to serving new clients while continuing to care for Mr. Barone’s existing clients with dependable, high-quality service.”

As the Music Director at Cedar Hills Church for the past 10 years, he has led worship, directed musicians, and helped develop the next generation of young players. His background includes not only performing and teaching, but also a strong hands-on understanding of piano tuning, maintenance, and repair. Whether he is restoring an instrument, fine-tuning its sound, or mentoring students, Will is dedicated to excellence, precision, and helping others experience the beauty of music at its best.

I serve cities within a 30 mile radius of Albuquerque including Corrales, Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, Placitas, Cedar Crest, Tijeras, Edgewood, South Valley, and Los Lunas. (I can often provide service outside this area so feel free to contact me.)

The simplest and most efficient is to send me a text message. In fact, we can schedule your appointment directly through text; no hassling with online booking services.
Can you fix sticking keys and minor issues?
Many small fixes can be handled on the spot without any additional charge. My goal is to make your piano the best it can be within about 90 minutes. I never try to upsell to a more premium service. If more extensive repairs ARE needed a quote will be given.
